The community meets at SORA Rooftop Lagos to honor growth, connection, and the global rise of Afrobeats
On February 20, Lagos’ music and business circles headed skyward. High above Victoria Island, ONErpm hosted a rooftop celebration to mark five years of operations in Nigeria. The venue buzzed with sound, conversation, and the glow of the city skyline. The night honored not only the milestone, but also the artists and partners who built the journey.
Since opening its doors in 2020, ONErpm Nigeria has focused on one goal: give independent artists real tools to scale. The team has provided global distribution, marketing support, and audience development that turn local momentum into international reach. What began as a regional hub now connects Lagos directly to listeners worldwide.
The event felt equal parts industry mixer and cultural reunion. Artists, managers, producers, and media leaders swapped stories, made plans, and celebrated wins. Afrobeats filled the air. Phones captured every moment. Familiar faces linked up, while new collaborations took shape. The vibe was warm, proud, and unmistakably Lagos.
The highlight came when Emmanuel Zunz, ONErpm’s founder and CEO, addressed the crowd during his first trip to Nigeria. He spoke about deeper investment across Africa and thanked the community for its creativity and drive. The response was instant and loud. The message was clear: the next chapter starts now.
