CEO Emmanuel Zunz On the Future of Music Interview For Music Business Worldwide
As ONErpm celebrates its 15th anniversary, founder and CEO Emmanuel Zunz sat down with Music Business Worldwide to reflect on the company's journey and what lies ahead. In the interview, Zunz outlined how ONErpm has evolved into one of the most powerful music companies in the world without losing sight of its mission to empower creators.

Since its founding in 2010, ONErpm has expanded to over 40 countries and is on track to generate $300 million in revenue this year. In the interview, Zunz celebrates ONErpm's 2.7% market share on Spotify and over 23 billion monthly views across its YouTube network.
Looking ahead at the future of the music industry, Zunz was clear: “There are no more ‘distribution' companies, and there are no more ‘record labels.' There are just companies providing solutions to creators.”
Next Chapter: expansion in Africa and Asia
The piece stresses the company's independence as the key to its success. ONErpm has never accepted private equity or sold a stake in the business. That decision, Zunz explained, has allowed the team to prioritize sustainable growth and long-term partnerships. “We might grow slower, but we're building something solid,” he said.
A major point of pride stressed by Zunz in the conversation with Dave Robertos is the company's role in transforming the Latin American music landscape.
“We helped thousands of artists make real money for the first time,” he noted.

Emmanuel announced ONErpm's next chapter with focus on innovation and expansion in markets like Africa and Asia, whilst continuing investing in its proprietary technology.
“I'm confident ONErpm is further ahead of anyone in terms of single-platform tech innovation – and it's my job to keep us in that leadership position,” Zunz said.
