Colombia hub earns national recognition for a decade of technology, artist development, and regional expansion across the Andean and Caribbean markets
Forbes has recognized ONErpm CAN as a key force in the digital transformation of Latin America's music industry, spotlighting the region's 10-year anniversary and its growing impact across Colombia, the Andes, and the Caribbean.
Over the past decade, the Colombia-based operation has evolved from a local office into a strategic regional hub. Today, ONErpm CAN supports more than 140,000 artists, enables over 47,000 creators to monetize their music, and manages one of the most diverse independent catalogs in Latin America. The milestone reflects steady, sustainable growth powered by technology, data, and local market expertise.
A Decade of Growth, Data, and Cultural Impact
Founded globally by Emmanuel Zunz, ONErpm built its model around combining tech infrastructure with hands-on artist support. Since opening in Colombia in 2015, the CAN division has expanded rapidly, coordinating operations across Chile, Peru, Venezuela, and the Caribbean while helping independent artists compete on a global scale.
In the Forbes feature, Diego Maldonado, SVP Growth & Strategy and cofounder of ONErpm CAN, emphasized the region's unique blend of cultural intuition and data-driven strategy. The team uses analytics, audience insights, and localized marketing to grow genres ranging from Latin hip-hop and vallenato to gospel and alternative pop.
The recognition also highlights ONErpm's evolution from its original mission, “Leave No Artist Behind,” to its current focus on amplification. With advanced tools, scalable distribution, and strategic marketing support, the company helps artists turn streams into sustainable careers while maintaining independence.
As ONErpm CAN marks ten years, the message remains clear: technology, culture, and community drive the future of music. And from Colombia, that future is already in motion.
