David Checa is joining ONErpm as our new Global Head of Publishing and Rights Management, taking over from Diego Maldonado, who will continue to play a strategic role within the company.

David brings nearly 20 years of experience in the music industry, with an impressive track record across publishing and copyright organizations. He has served as Managing Director of Sony Music Publishing Latin America, overseeing operations in 10 countries, and held leadership roles at SAYCE, ACODEM, and LatinAutor.
A musician and seasoned executive, David combines creative understanding with business expertise—an essential mix for empowering the next generation of creators.
In his new role, David will work closely with Emmanuel Zunz, CEO of ONErpm, and Diego Maldonado, who now serves as Chairman of ONE Publishing and SVP Strategy for LATAM.
