Two giants of Dutch dance music — platinum-selling producer Martin Garrix and trance legend Armin van Buuren — have joined forces. Their new single, “Sleepless Nights,” will be released on August 8 via Armada Music and ONErpm.

Built around a stunning vocal performance by Libby Whitehouse, “Sleepless Nights” blends Martin's sleek production with Armin's trance roots. The result captures the restless energy of late-night dance floors and the bliss of dancing until sunrise.
Despite a long friendship, this is their first time combining their signature styles on one track.
The track debuted live at Ultra Miami during consecutive sets by both artists. Since then, it has become a staple in their solo shows. They've also performed it together at EDC Las Vegas, Cape Town, and Johannesburg.
Martin Garrix recently played the historic L.A. State Historic Park — his first show in Los Angeles since 2016. He became the first artist to headline the venue for three nights. He sold out 40,000 tickets for the first two shows and added a third due to demand.
Earlier in June, Garrix performed four nights in Las Vegas. He played OMNIA, TAO Beach Club, and EDC. He also sold out two October shows at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
Together, Armin van Buuren and Martin Garrix have topped DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list five times, holding the joint record for most wins.
This year, Garrix released “Peace of Mind” with Citadelle and “MAD” with Lauv. He also collaborated twice with Arijit Singh on “Angels for Each Other” and “Weightless.” “Angels for Each Other” marked the first time Garrix sang on one of his own tracks.
In 2025, Armin van Buuren launched his new live concept Pillars of Creation in the desert dunes of Ras Al Khaimah.
He also hosted A State of Trance festivals in Rotterdam and London, with a debut Mexico edition set for November. This summer, Armin kicked off a nine-show residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza. The run began with a rare six-hour solo set, followed by weekly performances featuring Cosmic Gate and Vini Vici.
He's also on a global tour with his immersive live show, The Orb.
In June, Armin released Breathe, his ninth studio album — a 51-track journey into mental health, personal growth, and creative freedom. He appeared on the cover of Men's Health to mark the release. The feature highlighted how his physical transformation fueled his artistic evolution.
Breathe includes the lead single “Let It Be For Love” featuring JAI RYU. Recent highlights also include “Keep The Faith” with Bon Jovi, “Heavy” with JOA, “Dream A Little Dream” with Sam Gray, and “Sound of You” with Pendulum and Rob Swire.
