ONEhub - David Carreira and Vitão - SAYING I LOVE YOU

The track was released on all digital platforms via ONErpm Portugal and will be part of David's 10th studio album.

Portuguese singer-songwriter David Carreira has released the single “DIZER QUE TE AMO” (Saying I Love You), in partnership with Brazilian musician Vitão . The track, released via ONErpm Portugal, precedes the release of David's 10th studio album, titled Para Falar de Amor (To Talk About Love), scheduled for November. The song is accompanied by an official music video on YouTube.

“ DIZER QUE TE AMO ” is a cheerful, danceable, and above all, romantic pop/pagode track. David and Vitão explore passion and uncontrollable romantic desire, painting the dramatic scene of dancing in the rain with the one you love in the song's lyrics. This track stands out as one of the most festive offerings on the album, being a highlight at the album's pre-release showcase event in Lisbon and the arrival of the physical album in stores.

The visual and thematic narrative of David Carreira 's new album is based on the representation of the ancient Eastern legend of the Red Thread . According to the myth, the gods connect individuals destined to be together by means of an imperceptible crimson thread tied to their little finger. Even if it faces setbacks, gets knotted, stretches to its limit, or crosses global distances, the thread never breaks, ensuring the reunion and the definitive bond.

This premise unfolds throughout the tracklist, portraying a journey of romantic highs and lows. The central songs function as chapters in David's emotional trajectory and his experience with the one destined for him, alternating between moments of calm, passion, and turmoil. Even so, "Para Falar de Amor " is only the first part of this romantic story, with the next parts to be revealed throughout 2027.
